Opening act Adrian+Meredith were really fun to watch. The husband and wife duo from East Nashville played contemporary folk/klezmer/polka tunes. Adrian plays guitar and Meredith plays fiddle, and they provide percussion by clogging. Watching Meredith clogging intricate steps while singing and fiddling is something to behold!
One of the highlights was "Who Stole The Keishka?" about a Polish sausage gone missing from a butcher shop. They said that once they recorded this polka, their Polish grandparents said that they were finally recording real music.
Adrian+Meredith were the perfect opener for Steve 'n' Seagulls! Meredith was very sweet and signed the cd’s that we purchased.
