When we saw that Johnny A. was bringing his Jeff Beck tribute band Beck-Ola to The Cut in Gloucester, we managed to get tickets right up front.
It was a phenomenal show. The band really showcased Jeff Beck's music and Johnny A did him proud. The audience was not as large as it should have been, given that it was a Saturday night, but those who were there were really into it.
Craig has always been a huge Jeff Beck fan. I saw Jeff Beck with him once, but I didn't think that I would recognize many songs tonight. However, I was amazed by how many were familiar to me.
As usual, The Cut is a fantastic place to see a show. An intimate room with great sound, and excellent burgers.
