We had a wonderful evening catching the first show of Rick Wakeman's US tour. He said it is the first proper show he has done in around 3 years. We were in the second row and had a fantastic view of his fingers as he played the Yamaha baby grand piano. He also played keyboards for two songs. The set spanned his career and was interspersed with banter and jokes. It was obvious that he was having a grand old time playing in front of a live audience again. TCAN is a great little venue with fantastic sound quality. It's been over 20 years since we first saw Rick doing a one man show in Chatham, UK, and it was great to see him out and about after the pandemic.
