Saturday 1/28/17 - Departure
We awoke early to go to the airport. The kids were still asleep. We had coffee, some yogurt, bread, and cheese before the van picked us up. We wrote a goodbye message to the kids on the concrete with chalk.
When we got to the airport, Craig had eggs, sausage, and homefries, and I had a slice of pizza. I browsed in the shops and decided to buy a sun hat embroidered with Ecuador's colorfully cheerful tourism logo. The brim is wider than on my other sun hat, so this will provide more protection.
Our flights were uneventful, and we were back at our house by 9 p.m.
