Monday, October 17, 2022 - Working RemotelyWe woke up this morning and Craig's stomach still wasn't feeling well. I had a message from Copa Airlines saying that I needed to fill out a COVID contact tracing report prior to our upcoming flight. I filled it out and had the document on my phone to show at the airport. We went into the house. The three elder kids were at school. We ate breakfast and had a nice chat with Aida and Antonio. Then I went to work. They brought my soup upstairs for me to eat while I was in a meeting. The kids came home from school and did their homework at the dining room table. Shina had to cut headlines from the newspaper and glue them into her notebook, and Yupanki had to draw a map of Ecuador labeling all of the different states. After I was done with work for the day, I played with Kuri. Yupanki was having Dashel repeat sentences word by word, which was very cute. He is a very caring and patient big brother. We had soup, scrambled egg with tomato and onion, and fries for dinner. Craig didn't eat dinner, but had a roll to try to settle his stomach. Aida made him tea with cinnamon, honey, and guayaba to try to cure his stomach once and for all before we head home. We said goodnight to everyone at 9:30 p.m. and went to our casita. |
