Tuesday, October 18, 2022 - Working Remotely, Preparing to LeaveFor breakfast, we had an omelette, bread, ham, and coffee.Aida and Antonio laid Kuri outside on a tortora reed mat to get some sun. Antonio placed a baby chick on top of him. Craig's stomach still wasn't feeling well, and he didn't want to push his luck before flying, so he skipped lunch. I had fried fish, tomato and onion salad, and fries. After I was done with work, we joined the kids as they did their homework, and had some quality time with baby Kuri. Craig had a little cream of mushroom soup for supper, and I had soup and a sausage. We said our goodbyes to the family, which is always difficult. Yupanki wrote us a note, and as I read it aloud he started to cry. Sisa wrote us a note, too. Although we wouldn't be leaving until the wee hours, the family had to go to bed as the kids had school tomorrow. So we went back to the casita at about 9:30 and finished packing. |
