Sunday, 7/10/2022 - Post-wedding FeastVanesa and Danny left at 8 a.m. for their honeymoon. We woke up at 9 o'clock. We had a breakfast of huevos rancheros, refried beans, cheese, and coffee. Paola washed Octavio, who had managed to get himself a little dirty.Members of the extended family came over for lunch, including some folks that we hadn't really had a chance to see yet on this trip. Guests included Olga, Chilo, Margarita, Estela, Juan Carlos, Yolanda, Junior and his lovely bride Gloria, Fatima, Michele, Julia, and Carlos. Lunch was soup with avocado and tortillas, leftover ponche, and Coca Cola. Paola went to work at 4 o'clock. We talked to the kids' cousin Yesmi on video chat, she is in Los Angeles now. We had some cake, coffee, and tea. We played volleyball with a balloon with Ian; he had good aim for our faces, that's for sure! We all skipped dinner tonight and went to bed at 9 o'clock since everyone was tired. |
