Wednesday June 26, 2024 - Vanesa Comes HomeI got up at 7 a.m. and started to work. Craig and I ate breakfast with the family. We had bananas, scrambled eggs with ham, and coffee.Vanesa was released from the hospital and came back to the family house to recuperate rather than her own house. Her husband Danny is at work, so they wanted to ensure that someone was home to care for her. With everything going on, the family decided to order Pollo Campero delivery for lunch for convenience. We had big fried chicken breasts and fries, along with a homemade salad. Aracely gave us an invitation to her and Joel's wedding. The invitation announced the wedding of "Eduardo and Darlin", their first names, even though both familiarly go by their middle names. Then Aracely went off with Paola and Octavio the dog to deliver invitations to other family and friends. We had a nice chat with Humberto. Yasmin is up and about more, obviously making a recovery. Eddy is still sick in bed, and Vanesa is in bed in one of the upstairs rooms. We ate dinner with the family: dobladas, scrambled eggs, beans, and cheese. Danny came over to stay the night with Vanesa. Aracely opened the parcels containing her wedding dress and accessories. She was a bit disappointed that the veil wasn't as bright white as the dress, and covered the back of her hair completely. She thinks that she might prefer a tiara, as she wants to curl her hair and have a side braid. She will go shopping to see if she can find something she likes better. In order to keep the long dress from dragging on the floor, they hung its hanger from a hole in the ceiling in the dining room. |
